Immerhin verarbeiten fast 4.000 Kleinwinzer teilweise 100% handverlesene Trauben zu ihren Haus-Champagner-Marken. Der Wehmutstropfen: bisher schafften es diese besonderen Tröpfchen kaum in einen deutschen Kelch, denn nur 12 % der insgesamt 50 %, Exportware, die ‚La Belle France‘ verlassen, stammen von den kleinen Betrieben. Durch ihre übersichtlichen Strukturen und ein sehr zeitraubendes, operatives Tagesgeschäft, konzentrieren sie sich nicht auf den Export, sondern beliefern teilweise sogar nur ihr unmittelbares Umfeld – ok auch schon mal bis nach Paris. Und mal davon abgesehen belegt Deutschland im Global Champagner-Business nach den USA, den UK und Japan immerhin Platz 4 gefolgt von Belgien, Österreich und Italien. Aber diese individuellen Produkte kennt man kaum.
