Viele Gäste aus der Zeit davor halten ihm seit Jahren immer noch die Treue und folgen ihm aus Kiezen vom anderen Ende der Stadt. Die Bar ist Teil des Quentin Boutique Hotels. So legt der Wahlberliner den Hotelgästen gerne die zahlreichen Berliner Manufakturspirituosen ans Herz. Die Betreiber des Hotels hatten 2017 den richtigen Blick für Kult-Architektur und quartieren sich in das verwaiste 50-er Jahre Gebäude. Dort eröffneten sie das Blacklist im City West-Retrostyle. Bartender Godwin verabschiedet sich zeitgleich gerade von einer „Fehlstation“ im Hippster-Neukölln und heute ist er der Barmanager der Blacklist. Eke ist auf allen Ebenen in seinem Element. So sind beispielsweise Funky Life-DJ-Acts Teil seines Konzepts.
