Traditionell steht am letzten Wochenende im September die Hauptstadt ganz im Zeichen des Berlin-Marathons.

Über 40.000 Teilnehmer (Läufer) sind jährlich beim Berlin-Marathon am Start. Sie kommen aus rund 120 Ländern, entsprechend international und bunt ist die Teilnehmer- und Zuschauerschar.

Hotspots für Zuschauer

Die beliebtesten Plätze an der Strecke sind die Siegessäule (0,6 km), das Bundeskanzleramt und Reichstag (6,5 km), der Friedrichstadtpalast (8 km), der Platz am Wilden Eber (28,5 km), der Olivaer Platz (33,5 km) die Gedächtniskirche (35 km), der Potsdamer Platz (38,5 km), die Straße Unter den Linden (41 km) und natürlich das Brandenburger Tor (42 km).

Weitere Marathon am Wochenende

Neben den Läufern sind am Sonntag (Start: 9 Uhr) auch die Rollstuhlfahrer (Start: 8:35 Uhr) und Handbiker (Start: 8:45 Uhr) auf der Straße des 17. Juni mit am Start. Die Skater laufen bereits am Samstag (Start 15:30 Uhr), auch der Mini-Marathon (15:20 Uhr) und der Bambini-Lauf (Start: 11:00 Uhr) finden am Samstag statt.

Straßensperrungen und Umleitungen

Anmeldung für den BMW Berlin-Marathon 2017

Nachdem die 40.000 Startplätze des BMW Berlin-Marathon 2013 innerhalb von nur dreieinhalb Stunden vergeben waren, gab es für den Berlin-Marathon 2014 erstmalig ein neues Anmeldeverfahren. Nach einer Vor-Registrierungsphase in der alle Interessenten erfasst wurden, fand im Anschluss eine Verlosung der Startplätze statt. Dieses Verfahren hat sich bewährt und wird weitergeführt.

Registrierung für das Losverfahren für 2017

Die Registrierung für den Berlin Marathon 2016 beginnt am 19. Oktober 2016 um 12 Uhr und endet am 02. November 2016 um 24 Uhr. Im Anschluss an die Registrierungsphase wurden die Gewinner/Teilnehmer per Losentscheid ermittelt und automatisch informiert.
