Högni Egilsson spielte u. a. mit isländischen Bands wie GusGus und Hjaltalin. Er hat sich als Mulitinstrumentalist etabliert und arbeitet als Komponist beispielsweise für die Royal Shakespeare Company und das Icelandic National Theatre. Für das Frühjahr 2017 steht Högni Egilssons erste Solo-LP an. Songs werden bereits im Roten Salon der Volksbühne zu hören sein. Mr. Silla, das ist Sigurlaug Gísladóttir.
