Vom 2. Juni bis 25. August 2017 finden wieder die beliebten Sommerkonzerte Open Air im Botanischen Garten statt. In einmaliger Atmosphäre werden dem Publikum an 12 Konzertabenden besondere Klangerlebnisse geboten. Ob Klassik oder Jazz, Rock oder Soul, Reggae oder Chorgesang, Swing oder Salsa, Tango oder Flamenco – ein breitgefächertes musikalisches Repertoire verschiedener Berliner Künstler sorgt für ein abwechslungsreiches Programm und Hörgenuss im Grünen.
Vor dem Konzertbesuch lädt der Botanische Garten zu einem Spaziergang durch die blühende Sommerpracht ein – der Garteneintritt ist am Konzerttag inklusive (ebenso der Eintritt in das Botanische Museum).
Konzertgäste können sich außerdem auf eine kostenlose Gartenführung im Anschluss an das musikalische Programm freuen.

Die fünf Musikerinnen spielen rasanten und lässigen Swing mit deutschen Texten und dreistimmigem Gesang. Sie erweisen dem Lebensgefühl des Swing ihre Referenz, seiner Leichtigkeit und Lebensfreude. Die Konzerte der Berliner Swingband sind publikumsnah, voller Spielfreude, Show-Elementen, Witz und Poesie.
