Veranstaltungsplakat Coming Out Of the Closet

Am 7. Dezember lädt die Galerie SUI VALET in Kooperation mit der Berliner Aids-Hilfe e.V. zur Vernissage der Malerei von Holger Lindner ein. Gezeigt werden zumeist großformatige Malereien auf Leinwand aus seiner intensiven Schaffensperiode von 1991 bis 2010.

Thematisch setzte der ehemalige Philosophiestudent sich größtenteils mit seinem Coming Out auseinander. Die sehr expressiven und farbenfrohen Bilder erinnern an die frühe Malerei der Neuen Wilden Rainer Fetting und Salome oder an die Pop Art. So sieht man Männer, die ins Unergründliche fallen, thematische Hinweise auf Rimbaud und Yves Klein. Einige Protagonisten erinnern an Krieger oder an Männer aus der schwulen Fetisch-Szene. Lindner fand seinen eigenen Malstil, der expressiv und ausdrucksstark ist.
