Wusstet Ihr, dass der Internationale Tag der Tapas jedes Jahr am 16. Juni zelebriert wird? Der weltweit meistverkaufte spanische Likör Licor 43 und die Kreuzberger Gastro-Bar Bar Raval veranstalten zu diesem Anlass vom 17. bis 23.6. eine gemeinsame Tapas Week. Dafür bietet die Bar Raval unter dem Zepter von Geschäftsführer Marc Hanke eigens dafür kreierte Licor 43-Tapas in Kombination mit einem passenden Drink zum Vorzugspreis an. Als besonderes Schmankerl erhalten alle Gäste sogar einen Licor 43-Digestif aufs Haus.

Als Vorreiter in Sachen moderne Tapaskreationen in Berlin hat sich die Bar Raval bereits seit Jahren einen Namen gemacht. Aus der Wiege gehoben von Atilano González und Daniel Brühl – den man sonst eher von der Kinoleinwand kennt –, bereichert sie die Berliner Gastronomieszene mit authentischer spanischer Küche, frei von Klischees über die „südländische Kultur“, dafür mit viel Inspiration aus den urbanen Gegenden der Deutschen liebsten Urlaubslandes. Echtes spanisches Flair und eine tiefe Verwurzelung in der spanischen Esskultur sind die verbindenden Elemente zwischen der Bar Raval und der Nummer 1 unter den Likören Spaniens. Das Herz der gemeinsamen Aktion bilden die kreativen, von den Kochkünstlern der Bar Raval entwickelten Tapasrezepte, die Licor 43 intus haben. Tofukroketten finden sich auf Wakamealgensalat, knusprige Cannelloni umschließen in Baristo und Rotwein marinierte Kalbsbäckchen wobei die gegrillten, leicht marinierten roten Paprika die Süsse mit ihrer leicht pfeffrigen Schärfe aufnehmen. Ein süsser Abgang könnten die mit Creme Catalana gefüllten spanischen Zimtröllchen mit frittierten Paparajotes (Zitronenblättern) in Orochata-Sösschen sein. Ein guter Ein- oder Ausstieg ist immer-lecker ein Espresso mit Licor 43 Original, dem die Raval-Barkeeper mit ihren Hochdruck-Apparaturen ein kompakt aufgeschäumtes Krönchen verpassen. Manche bleiben am Ende auch bei Ihrem Spanien-Urlaub Erinnerungsdrink: dem Original – Licor 43 von leche, klassisch mit Milch gemixt ist dieser weich-mundige Drink eine echte Nostalgiereise.
Das Repertoire des neuen Tapas-Chefs Salvador Gererrero aus Sevilla (Katalonien) spannt sich von süß bis herzhaft (die Challenge). Er wird den Tapas zukünftig seine persönlichen New Twist verpassen. Natürlich kann man den Licor 43 mit seinen 43 teilweise geheimen Ingredienzien (pssssscht: aaaaltes Familienrezept!) auch klassisch pur auf Eis genießen. Geübte und ungeübt Zungen erschmecken bei den 3 Licor 43 Sorten Original, Orochata und Baristo die Aromen von Vanille, Orange, Pfeffer, Tee oder auch Koriander heraus. Der milchig samtige etwas nussige Orochata mit „Erdmandel“ schmeckt nach Zimt und orientalischem Gebäck. Der Baristo ist erst seit Kurzem auch für den Endverbraucher erhältlich. Mit den feinen Aromen der gerösteten, kanarischen Kaffeebohnen ist er als Digestiv ein Leckerschmecker für Freunde leicht herb-süsser Geschmackswelten.
