Die farbenfrohen, musikalisch und tänzerisch professionell inszenierten Vorstellungen des Kinder Musical Theater in Berlin e.V. stammen aus der Schmiede vom Ex-Regisseur der Kinderrevuen des alten Friedrichstadt-Palast Volkmar Neumann und Schlagerstar Michael Hansen. Sie begeisterten in den letzten Jahren unzählige Besucher und können sich durchaus an den Young Shows des Friedrichstadt-Palast messen lassen.

Das geheime Leben ungeliebter Puppen und aussortierter Kuscheltiere
Die selbstbewusste Agnes und die schüchterne Ida, Liss, kluge Schlange und Mr. Blum sind nur einige der weggeworfenen Puppen und Stofftiere aus der Berliner Großstadt, die die Kinder nicht mehr haben wollen. Nun fristen sie ihr tristes Dasein auf einer Müllhalde in der Unterwelt. Zwei Cliquen haben sich gebildet, die ihre Verzweiflung über ihren traurigen Aufenthaltsort mit gegenseitigem Streit um die Vorherrschaft austragen.

Der Dolly Day
ist die einzige Hoffnung aller Puppen jemals wieder diesem Unglücksort zu entkommen. An diesem Tag wird unter allen Puppen eine einzige ausgewählt, die wieder in die Oberwelt zurückkehren darf. Als der Dolly Day sich naht, sind sich die Puppen nicht einig, wer nun der*die Auserwählte ist. Donna Aresina spielt ein hinterlistiges Spiel und zwei Kobolde mischen sich ein…

Mit „Berlin ist cool“ bringen Volkmar Neumann und Barbara Radunz ein Stück auf die Bühne, das vom menschlichen Bedürfnis nach Hoffnung, Liebe und ein wenig Glück erzählt, vor dem Hintergrund von Konflikten zwischen sozialen und ethnischen Gruppen in Berlin. Viele unterschiedliche Charaktere, ihre Geschichten und Motive prallen hier aufeinander. Doch aus Hoffnungslosigkeit und gegenseitigem Misstrauen entsteht ein gemeinsamer Plan zur Befreiung aus den Missständen und der Unterdrückung.
