Das erklärt auch den Erfolg der 1918 gegründeten Berliner Schokoladen-Manufaktur Rausch, die sich selbst ein schokoladiges Denkmal gesetzt hat. Im weltgrössten Schokoladenhaus am Gendarmenmarkt können grosse und kleine Schokolschleckermäulchen jetzt auf drei Etagen die Welt der Rausch auf 1001 qm Schokolade entdecken. Im Schokoladen – Geschäft bietet Rausch seinen Kunden an der längsten Pralinentheke der Welt auf 30 Metern über 200 verschiedene Pralinen und feinste Schokoladen – Kreationen an.

Berlin schmeckt süss: jedenfalls bei Rausch, die alle Warzeichen wie das Brandenburger Tor und den Fernsehturm in Schokolade gegossen haben. Auch Berliner Ikonen, wie der Berliner Bären und die Siegessäule lassen sich vernaschen. Ein weiteres Highlight ist die „Plantagenwelt“ in der ersten Etage. Hier macht Rausch das Thema Edelkakao – Schokolade erlebbar. Mit modernster Technik und spannenden Geschichten weckt Rausch die Lust auf Hintergrundwissen zu Edelkakaos. Denn die Schokoladenpraline wächst nicht einfach am Baum: Rausch bezieht seine Edelkakaos seit Ende der 90er Jahre direkt von den Plantagen in den Herkunftsregionen: eine ideelle und ökonomische Entscheidung für höchste Qualität. Die RAUSCH – Chronologie

1918 Im ersten, 1890 eröffneten Familienbetrieb – einer Konditorei – bietet Wilhelm Rausch sen. Schokoladen, Trüffel und Pralinen an.

1918 gründet Wilhelm Rausch jun. in Berlin die Rausch Privat-Confiserie zur Herstellung feinster Schokoladen, Pralinen und Honigkuchen.

1952 Gerhard Rausch übernimmt die Führung des Unternehmens. Er ist der Erfinder der ›Hauchfeinen Täfelchen‹.

1968 Zum 50. Jubiläum des Unternehmens eröffnet Gerhard Rausch in Gegenwart des regierenden Bürgermeisters die neue Manufaktur in der Wolframstraße in Tempelhof. Rausch Manufaktur in Berlin-Tempelhof zur Herstellung und Veredelung von Schokoladen, Pralinen, Trüffeln und weiteren Kreationen.

1971 Jürgen Rausch tritt 1971 in das Unternehmen seiner Familie ein. 1981 Seit 1981 leitet Jürgen Rausch das traditionsreiche Familienunternehmen.

1998 Im Jahr 1998 entwickelt Jürgen Rausch die ›Rausch Plantagen-Schokolade‹, ein Sortiment purer Schokoladen aus herkunftsreinen Edelkakaos dieser Welt.

1999 Eröffnung des großen Fassbender & Rausch Schokoladenhauses am Gendarmenmarkt in Berlin-Mitte.

2011 Jürgen Rauschs Sohn, Robert Rausch, tritt im Jahr 2011 in das Familienunternehmen ein. Seither reisen Vater und Sohn gemeinsam in die Herkunftsregionen der ausgesuchten Edelkakaos.

2015 Robert Rausch übernimmt die Neuausrichtung der Marke und führt sie ins digitale Zeitalter. Der Anspruch ist dabei immer der gleiche geblieben: Unvergleichliche Schokolade von bester Qualität zu machen. Weitreichende Entscheidungen treffen Vater und Sohn bis heute stets gemeinsam.
