2017 werden wir um 13 Uhr direkt am Mauerpark starten. Unseren ursprünglichen Startpunk direkt vor der Volksbühne haben wir verlegt, damit das Ensemble sein Straßenfest feiern kann. Für unser diesjähriges Motto “Meinungs- und Pressefreiheit” waren mehrere Punkte im Gespräch. Bundespresseamt, Volksbühne oder auch Zionskirche… alles Orte, die wir mit Meinungs- und Pressefreiheit verbinden. Das Bundespresseamt war dann doch zu sehr Regierungsmitteilungsgedöns, Zionskirche zu wenig Platz, und Volksbühne siehe oben. Der Mauerpark als Startpunkt ist nicht nur wegen seiner Fläche, sondern auch als ein Platz des Zusammentreffens mit Fete de la Musique, Flohmarkt, Straßenmusiker, Regenbogen Spielplatz, Walpurgisnacht, Karaoke eine gute Wahl, und ein lebendiges Zeugnis der Berliner Kultur.

2017 geht es für die Presse- und Meinungsfreiheit auf die Straße, denn das Thema ist hochrelevant seit all den Putins, Erdogans und Trumps. Aber auch wir prügeln uns auf Facebook verbal die Köpfe ein, Populisten bestimmen die News, Identitäre klettern auf unser Tor. Blockieren hat das Miteinander reden abgelöst. Medien aller Art, ob nun Magazine, Zeitungen oder Fernsehsender und ihre Vertreter werden diffamiert und sogar körperlich angegriffen. Dazu kommt, das die Pressefreiheit, durch mangelnde Transparenz oder Verweigerung von Zugang bei politischen Veranstaltungen, beschnitten wird. Der absurde Vorwurf, von einer gelenkten Lügenpresse hat online eine gefährliche Filterblase geschaffen, in der rationale Diskussion nur noch als Täuschungsmanöver diskreditiert wird.

Der Zug der Liebe ist ein gemeinnütziger Verein, der sich für mehr bürgerschaftliches Engagement, die Übernahme sozialer Verantwortung und mehr Nächstenliebe einsetzt.
