Der Brunnenmarkt im Wedding findet jeden 3. Sonntag im Monat mit einem breit gefächerten kulinarischen Angebot in der Brunnenstraße in Berlin statt.

Bisher nur sporadisch bietet der Brunnenmarkt im Wedding seit April 2016 einmal im Monat die Möglichkeit, internationale Küche aus regionalen und saisonalen Zutaten zu erleben. Der Knotenpunkt zwischen den Stadtteilen Wedding, Mitte und Prenzlauer Berg in der Brunnenstraße ist bunt und vielseitig. Diese Eigenschaften spiegelt der Streetfood-Markt in seinem Angebot wider. Köche, Foodaktivisten, Barista, Imker, urbane Gärtner, Lebensmittelanbieter und Händler sind vor Ort.

Die Organisatoren des Brunnenmarkts sind die Eventfirma Mamma Berlin und die Wohnungsgesellschaft Degewo. Initiatorin Nicole Hofen verfolgt das Ziel, den Besuchern den Umgang mit Lebensmitteln bewusster zu machen. Neben den kulinarischen Highlights können Interessierte an der Kochbörse Tipps und Kochbücher austauschen. Für Kinderbetreuung ist ebenfalls gesorgt.
