Schon seit vielen Jahren liegt das Gut Hellersdorf mit seinen denkmalgeschützten Bauten im Dornröschenschlaf. Ebenso lange wird nach einem zukunftsträchtigen Konzept für das Areal gesucht. Die Ausstellung zeigt die jahrhundertelange Geschichte auf, auf die das Gut zurückblicken kann – vom adligen Gut über die Nutzung als Berliner Stadtgut und Volkseigenes Gut bis zur Aufgabe der Landwirtschaft nach 1990.
Im Zentrum der Ausstellung stehen erstmals öffentlich gezeigte, originale Baupläne, die vom Ende des 19. Jahrhunderts bis in die Zeit nach dem Zweiten Weltkrieg reichen. Ergänzt werden sie um detaillierte, vielfach neu recherchierte Informationen zur Geschichte der einzelnen Bauten. Die Ausstellungsbesucher sind eingeladen, eigene Visionen zur Zukunft des Geländes zu entwickeln.
Öffnungszeiten sind die offiziellen Öffnungszeiten des Museums.
