Das Berliner Musikinstrumenten-Museum sammelt Musikinstrumente der europäischen Kunstmusik vom 16. bis zum 21. Jahrhundert. Zur Zeit besitzt das Museum rund 3.200 Instrumente, die sich vielfach in spielbarem Zustand befinden. Gut 800 Instrumente sind in der Schausammlung zu sehen. Es ist in seiner Vielfalt eine der repräsentativsten Sammlungen in Deutschland.
Öffentliche Führung durch die Schausammlung mit Klangbeispielen am Samstag um 11 Uhr und am Donnerstag um 18 Uhr. Am Samstag um 12 Uhr findet ein Kurzkonzert auf der Mighty Wurlitzer-Orgel statt.
